Dr. Safa Somi
Safa Somi is a specialist prosthodontist and a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at Eastman Dental Institute and a programme coordinator of the MSc Implant programme.
Safa completed her Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from Cardiff University with distinction and gained prestigious membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014. She then worked as a Clinical Lecturer at Cardiff Dental School, teaching postgraduate dentists in MClinDent (Prosthodontics) and MSc (Implantology) programmes.
Safa’s clinical interest is surgical and restorative implant dentistry. She is passionate about utilising lasers in her day-to-day practice to improve patients’ treatment outcomes.
Safa also is an ITI Fellow and a committee member of Women’s Implantology Network UK & Ireland. She is involved in organising and speaking at ITI events.
